Welcome to The Pod! A relaxed social evening where we discuss podcast content on topics surrounding business, wellbeing and creativity.

A link to the chosen podcast will be sent out to Pod members at the beginning of every month so that you have time to listen to, and absorb, the content before we gather to chat about key themes and potential solutions to common problems. 

This will be a relaxed gathering where you are free to contribute to the discussion, or sit and listen to others. There will be no pressure to talk unless you want to! Helen will be on hand to welcome you, and to gently keep the conversation flowing throughout the evening. We feel it presents a great opportunity to learn from worldwide experts and speakers, as well as from each other.

Individual sessions will be free of charge but will be ticketed so that we can confirm numbers with the venue. We strongly encourage you to budget for buying a brew (and maybe a slice of cake) at the venue as we'd like The Pod to contribute to the local economy and support the hosting business.

In the interests of being fully transparent, longer term we anticipate there will be a small annual admin charge of £10/£20 (per year, depending on the labour it generates) for attendees. This would cover our time planning and administrating the events, and also potentially fund us to be able to provide simple summaries of the evenings to those who couldn't attend. The sessions will be free of charge for the first six months whilst we assess the ideas viability and see if it is something that people benefit from. When there is a future requirement for a membership fee, this will be communicated clearly and with plenty of notice.

The Pod will take place on the following dates during 2025. All sessions will run at Mooch on Market Street, Hebden Bridge and will run from 6pm until 7.30pm.
